For me, Denver winning the game was a foregone conclusion prior to today. However, San Diego decided to make a game of it and try to repeat their win from earlier in the season. Denver seemed to be a little off and will really need to get it together if they expect to win against Peyton Manning's nemesis.
After the semi finals, Bob Dzuck jumps up to first place with 237 points, no doubt to all of his Denver players. He is in good shape with 16 players remaining, with at least three players from each team. Rich Powell moves up to second place with 235 points. He has 17 players to go, including eight from Denver. There is a two-way tie for third between Adam Nelson and John LeDoux with 233 points. Adam is hurting a little with only 11 players remaining. John has 20 players remaining, primarily heavy with Den, SF, and Sea players.
From what I can tell based on the overall standings, the race is pretty tight. However, it looks like half of the teams are already out, especially if Denver continues to play. Blount remains a wild card, and there are a few other sporadic players on teams. Overall, there is no clear cut winner at this point.
