One of the things that I hate about watching post-season football are all of the asinine stats that the network will flash. For example, before the game even started, Fox had to mention that the Niners were 0-4 on the road since some date 20+ years ago. Later on, they showed that the Niners were 1-27 when losing by "x" points after "y" time. These stats are very biased and annoying when they are against the team you are rooting for. I started to believe those facts when the Niners were down by three scores early. I still believed them when the Niners couldn't score on two consecutive drives in the second half. Even after the Niners took the lead, I still have a feeling that things were still not over. However, the Niners prevailed and make their way to the Super Bowl.
After the NFC Championship game, I am still in first place somehow with 384. I do not expect to be in the lead after game two today. Charles Johnson is in second place with 378 points. Not far behind in third place is Bob Dzuck with 376 points.
Here are the stats for the game: http://3206.benphillip.com/2013/sfatl.htm
