As a lifelong Vikings fan, I must admit that I was gleeful watching the Giants beat the Packers. I never understand why coaches sit QBs in week 17 when they have a bye week in the playoffs. It seems that history shows that this is a bad strategy. Rodgers looked terrible and the teams just was not talented enough to compensate. Maybe next year...
Jason Kearney finishes this week with 438 points. He is heavy on Pats players, so an upset will hurt him a lot. On the flipside, he still has Manning left, who will help on the NFC side. Chris Zentkowski is in second place with 426. He is in great shape with the second-most remaining players, along with having four Giants players on his team. Doug Aunet takes third place this week with 422 points. He has a fairly even amount of players left on each of the four remaining teams, so he could be a factor through the Super Bowl.
The majority of the teams took a hard hit with the Packers loss. Only two teams lost less than four Packer players. The loss also hurt most everyone with their MVP and Super Bowl picks. Only two teams have both predictions remaining, so that extra 15 points could factor in at the end. Everyone else has zero predictions left.
Here are the stats for the game. Good luck next week!
